Corporate responsibility: THAO

The Newton 21 group cares about citizens’ well-being and health. Since 2007 the group has supported the THAO Foundation. This NGO carries out the programme «THAO-SALUD INFANTIL» («THAO - Childhood Health») in Spain and Colombia.

THAO - Childhood Health is a community-based intervention programme promoting healthy life habits for children from 3 to 12 years old. The programme focuses on preventing childhood obesity. THAO is an original and exclusive educational programme based on regular physical activity and diverse, enjoyable nutrition.

In 2010, due to the exceptional results and success of the THAO programme, «THAO Early Childhood» was launched. It has the same aims as its parent company, but within the 0-3 year age group.
